For fifteen years, Gerard Mahieu was a board member of DDB Needham Worldwide, a subsidiary of Omnicom Group, the first worldwide advertising group. From 1982 through 1997, he was President and CEO of eight companies that were subsidiaries of DDB Needham. These eight companies with 1,500 employees specialized in print advertising, direct marketing and internet development.
